I stopped in for an authentic meal and was not disappointed!!!! I had the fried sardine starter and grilled red snapper special. Everything was absolutely delicious!!!! And don't miss out on the rolls, they were top notch!!! Pleasant place, staff were very nice and inviting. I found the restaurant to be very warm though, if going again I would probably opt to sit outside. But overall, I had a great experience and would visit again if I am in the area.
Stopped in on New Year’s Eve for an appetizer and some drinks with my person. Service was excellent and food was great. We got a combination appetizer. It had Chicken wings, chorizo, sardines and cod cakes. Very tasty and filling for two. Definitely will stop in again for dinner one day.
Apps. Mains. Desserts. All delicious. Portuguese food leans heavily toward seafood and bacalhau is the star of the show. But if you're not a seafood fan....go with the chicken. Then again I love pork too.
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. The food was beautifully presented and full of authentic Portuguese flavors. My dish was light, healthy, and absolutely delicious, while my husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. The staff was attentive and made our evening even more enjoyable. If you love trying new cuisines, this fine dining experience is definitely worth it!
If you’re craving a taste of Portugal or just really great seafood, Luso Portuguese Grill in Port Saint Lucy has just that! Small hidden gem with authentic meals. I started with the bolos de bacalhau—crispy codfish cakes that were golden on the outside and tender inside. My husband had the Petingas Fritas - Pan fried baby sardines with garlic and olive oil. It was so delicious! For entrees we had Bacalhau ‘A Porto - boiled cod fish served with baked potatoes and Teixeira Style Linguine, it was very tasty! Main courses were generous but don’t skip dessert—the pastel de nata, served warm with a dusting of cinnamon, was sublime. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable (sorry that I am terrible with names but I believe his name was Alex), and the wine list boasted an impressive selection of Portuguese vintages. We ordered a bottle of the Santa Maria and enjoyed it immensely. Verdict: A must-visit for fans of bold flavors, seafood, and rustic atmosphere.
This place is absolutely fantastic. Felipe is a lovely and extremely hospitable server. I had the Portuguese Steak medium well. It was buttery, tender, PACKED with flavor. That was probably the best steak I have ever had. I will definitely make the trip from Stuart and go again.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Luso Portuguese Grille, and I can't recommend it enough! The food is absolutely amazing, with every dish bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating the perfect dining experience. Their selection of Portuguese wine is outstanding, and each glass perfectly complemented the meal. The seafood, especially the salmon, was cooked to perfection—truly incredible. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food and exceptional ambiance. Five stars all the way!
04/11/2025: Delicious second time! Took friends with us this trip and lunch was amazing! Friends said food reminded them of home in RI. Extremely nice service which is not rushed. Can’t wait to return. Wonderful experience. 12/24/2024: Great lunch here Christmas Eve. Wonderful service, and we were able to sit on their outdoor patio with our small dog. Very nice interior too. Look forward to returning and sitting inside.
